SHIPPING

We are still a small company, so once you place your order, in-stock items can take up to 3 business days to process and be placed in the mail. 

***PLEASE NOTE: Certain items in our shop are MADE-TO-ORDER, which allows us to reduce waste and give the MOST back to rescue.

MADE-TO-ORDER ITEMS:

Fine Jewelry: Each of our fine jewelry items are carefully hand crafted by our master jeweler and made-to-order. As such, jewelry orders can take 10-15 business days to ship. Please order ahead accordingly. If you order additional items along with any jewelry order, they will ship separately. 

Tops: Currently our tee's, tanks and sweatshirts are made-to-order, which allows us to reduce waste by not carrying dead stock. As such, please allow 10 business days to receive your tee, tank or sweatshirt order. If you order additional items along with any tee, tank or sweatshirt, they will ship separately. 

Shipping

We ship USPS First Class Mail unless an upgraded shipping option has been selected and paid for with your order. 

We currently offer complimentary shipping within the U.S. on orders with a subtotal (excluding tax, shipping or discounts) of $125 or more as well as free  exchanges if they are requested within 14 days of receiving your order.

 For order returns (not being exchanged) a $7 shipping fee will be deducted from the amount of your refund.

We are always working hard to make sure you receive your order in a timely manner. We can’t control delays caused by the weather or the postal service but if the maximum number of business days has passed and your package is missing, please reach out to us, and we will assist you the best way we can!

 Please note:

Once a package has been dropped off at a shipping location (UPS, USPS, FEDex etc.) its transport and tracking is out of our hands and becomes the responsibility of these carriers. We rely on the same tracking updates that you do, which are provided to us by these 3rd party companies.  

If you experience an issue with your package delivery, we will do our best to help, but we are also at the mercy of the information provided to us by these carriers. For the fastest service, we recommend you contact the carrier first to inquire as to your package location. 

RETURNS

We want you to be 100% satisfied with every purchase. Period. If you are unhappy for any reason please let us know within 14 calendar days of receiving your order by emailing us at info@thegentlepit.com.

Returns or Exchanges must be requested within 14 calendar days of receiving your order, after which merchandise must received back within 14 calendar days of receiving your return label, in order to receive a refund or exchange. 

Orders received after the 28 day return window will receive store credit. This includes purchases made during November/December, however exceptions will be considered during the holiday gifting season.

​While most all of our full-priced items are eligible for return, including fine jewelry, our sale items are normally final unless specifically marked. Final Sale items are never eligible for return or exchanges.

Items should be returned in unused condition with original tags still attached. We hand-inspect each return when it's received. Returns that are damaged, soiled, or clearly worn (seriously, it's easy to tell!) may not be accepted and 50% store credit will be issued in lieu of a full refund, or the customer may choose to have the item shipped back to them at their expense. 

EXCHANGES

Because we don't over-produce our inventory, sizes and styles sell out quickly! 

The best way you can ensure you get the size/style you want is to order it directly on our site as soon as you know you want something different. Then, initiate a return for your original item by emailing us at info@thegentlepit.com 

Your exchange order usually ships within 3 business days and your refund is processed as soon as we receive your return.  If you are having trouble, or the size you want is sold out, you can contact us at  info@thegentlepit.com for help. 

How Long Does it Take to Receive my Refund?

We strive to process refunds as quickly as possible. Once we've received the product(s) you'd like to return, we inspect your return and then refund you. Our aim is to process and refund your return within just a few days.

After the return has been approved, credit card refunds can take up to 5-7 business days for your bank to process.

Reminder: refunds do not include any shipping costs paid on your original order (if applicable)

My Item was Delivered to me Damaged. What Should I do?

Any damages upon delivery must be reported within three (3) days from date of order received. Contact us at info@thegentlepit.com.

Please be sure to provide detailed photos of the damage(s).

Worn, Altered, Washed, Used or Damaged Goods

Items that have been worn or used are NOT eligible for returns of any kind.

INTERNATIONAL RETURNS

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide our international customers with complimentary return shipping.

As a result, international customers are responsible for return shipping. Please send your item to:
